I have to admit that I hadn't followed the Martin issue very closely. I had skimmed newspaper stories and caught the variuos snippets on the radio. But I rarely watch television news, and I guess I just hadn't bothered to look at any pics online. And I tend to just go on auto pilot and tune out the Al Sharpton/Jesse Jackson aixs of stupidity, as one can almost GUARANTEE if they're involved, there's zero basis for their racism charges.
Now as the story has developed, it has come to light how different television networks DOCTORED tapes to inject racism into the 911 call when it wasn't there. But last night, after all this hub-bub, I just happened to catch another story on tv. And WHATTHEFREAK, George Zimmerman IS NOT WHITE!!!!!!!!!!!!
Let that sink in. The man who shot Martin, and who has been at the root of this firestorm, and been portrayed as a white supremacist, black-lynching dragon of the Ku Klux Klan ... IS NOT WHITE. He's latino.
So the press and the usual suspects of racial polarization have rushed in with their usual bull$h!t to stoke the fires of racial discord, and screech about white racism allowing blacks to be gunned down with impunity, in a situation where there isn't a white person involved. Now I can't speak to Zimmerman's mind. He might be highly prejudiced. He may be a racial bigot. But if so, it's not bias of white against black, it's bias of lation against black. Good grief!l

Yeah right. Ive heard that 1/2 of the
people living in Mexico are named "George Zimmerman". I guess its a common name for hispanics..

Tkae a freaking LOOK at the guy dumas. He's a LATINO. And it's YOUR ilk Arino that are constantly bewailing the bigotry that faces the "brown" people. I'm not saying this guy isn't a racist, I have no idea. He may be a thoroughly racist jerkov. But what he definitely is NOT, is a white guy that hates blacks.

I am afraid that the media feels that news must be created, if none exists. They love nothing more than have reporters out at the scene, all networks trying to out do the other. Dan Rather certainly took liberties in creating news even if it was a lie. It was amusing to watch him out strolling in the eye of an hurricane, wearing a stylish trench coat and natty hat. What a showboat. Here we are the leading nation in the free world, enjoying so much, and he signs off "courage", as if were in a struggle for our life.
